If what we see is primarily negative, it’s because we’re in the habit of focusing our attention on what’s wrong. If we were able to step back and take in the bigger picture, we’d see that there’s an equal amount of positive and negative in any situation. Until we become self-aware and conscious of what it is that forms our opinions, we will project onto others what we don’t accept in ourselves and dislike it out there.
