It doesn’t actually matter if some boss tells us what to do everyday or we live in a society that restricts our preferred behavior. It doesn’t really matter if we lack the resources to pay for every desire we have. What does matter is awareness of the fact that we are free to create the quality of our experience in our own mind. Ultimately, we are completely free at any moment to set the parameters that determine our degree of happiness or displeasure. We can require wealth, power and acknowledgment or we can be satisfied with what’s occurring in this very moment. The quality of what we think in one moment, effects the quality of the one…
