The stories we tell ourselves create our experience and the way we feel about it. If we’re unaware of our narratives, we just need to pay attention to how we feel. If we’re feeling good, our story is probably positive. If we’re tired or stressed, our story may include self-doubt, self-criticism or judgment of others. To enhance any aspect of our lives, we can become conscious of the dominant tales we’re spinning and edit them so they support our well-being and enjoyment.
