Co-Dependent?

Do you offer advice, try to fix other people and readily step in to take care of friends in need? These propensities are noble when they’re selfless, but egos can surreptitiously seek to reinforce their identities by offering their invaluable assistance. It’s important to recognize it when this is our motivation. If our worthiness depends on others needing us, it means we require them to have problems for us to feel good. That’s a recipe for disappointment on our part and resentment on theirs. The only clean way to give is with…

No expectations.
