Egos love to take turns talking about themselves. Sharing our latest accomplishments and adventures are interesting up to a point, but our authentic self is not so interested in cementing an identity. When our activities are primarily trying to service a demanding ego, that wants to appear at the top of the heap, we began to bore even ourselves.
