Most of us are so identified with our thinking that we don’t realize where it comes from. When we sit quietly and notice the gaps between our thoughts, we discover that thoughts arise out of a spaciousness that is essentially unlimited, pure potential. With practice, we can become this spaciousness. As we witness the thoughts coming and going, we realize they aren’t ours, they’re just like people walking by.
