Allow Feelings to Surface
Every attempt to protect ourselves emotionally from fear, sadness, loneliness, anger or any other feeling that we don’t like just keeps us from experiencing life fully. It causes us to close our hearts and prevents us from feeling true joy. Distracting ourselves from our feelings doesn’t help reduce our suffering, it just delays the healing.
