Our Judgments Are Gifts

Our judgments about others helps us understand ourselves better. If there’s little or no emotional charge, we’re probably just discerning what’s going on. If, on the other hand, we have a strong reaction and find ourselves building a case against them, it’s a sign that their behavior has triggered our own self-judgment which we’ve projected onto them. Understanding and loving ourselves more is the most important work we can do to better enjoy life. Using our judgments as information to show us where we’re withholding love from ourselves transforms our judgments into…

Gifts.
