Accept Your Feelings
When anxiety, anger, fear, or frustration arise, it’s common to unconsciously project blame outward, onto someone or something out there. This distracts us from the discomfort, but it doesn’t work out well in the long run. It suppresses the feelings causing them to fester and arise unexpectedly again sometime later. Our feelings are rarely about what we think they are, so contemplating their origins doesn’t help them go away. All feelings need to be owned and felt.
