Trying to impress others with what we do, who we know or how much we have is laborious, unsatisfying and ultimately counterproductive. People who care about superficialities aren’t real friends. Friendship and human connection are based on energy. Chasing external goals doesn’t enhance relationships, evolving our energy does. That’s how we find and connect with true friends.
