If you have a strong sense of impending doom or even a nagging feeling that something’s wrong, you’re suffering from anxiety. This results from feelings that haven’t been felt. Thinking about what’s bothering you is very different from actually feeling the sensations in your body that are caused by the thoughts. Sensations that stick around cause irritation if they aren’t felt. When you feel uneasy, consciously go into your bodily sensations and just sit with them. It doesn’t matter where they came from, they just need to be acknowledged.
