Desires create evolutionary movement. Resistance keeps you stuck. You naturally have preferences and you’re never going to like everything that happens. But when you resist what is, your energy becomes fixated on what’s wrong, rather than creatively looking for solutions. If you’re not happy with a particular situation, acknowledge your dissatisfaction, accept that ‘what is’ is the reality of the moment and look for how it’s ‘for’ you. This allows your energy to flow, transforming dissatisfaction into desired results.
Acknowledge, accept, create.

The amazing part about increasing your self-awareness is that just observing the connection between your thinking and your emotional set-point is often all it takes for positive transformation to begin. When you start to see how your thinking is actually the cause of your experience of life, you don’t even have to try to change your thinking, it’ll just happen naturally. Staying on top of your thought habits isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely worth the effort. Thoughts cause the problem…
Self-awareness cures it.

While you may be clear about your goals, you can’t know for sure if their attainment will result in the fulfillment you seek. But this will: Visualize yourself having achieved your objectives, imagine as much detail as possible (color, sound, imagery, etc…), shift your attention to your body and feel the physical sensations of success and joy. Then let go of exactly how it shows up and ask for this or something better for the highest purpose of all involved.
Drop the specifics and prepare for fulfillment.

Making a commitment can seem scary, but failure to commit is the primary cause of unfulfilled dreams. A sincere commitment sends a clear message to the Universe that you’re determined to achieve your goal. It also instructs your subconscious mind to draw to you whatever is necessary for your success. Without resolve, what shows up in life appears random and unhelpful. Clarify what you want, decide not to stop until it’s a reality, feel the fear that arises when you try something challenging and, then, do it anyway.
Commit to happiness in 2013.
Happy New Year!
