Gratitude Twenty Four Seven HeadquartersWant to make an amazing shift in your life? Let go of victim consciousness by taking full responsibility for your feelings. Your story about life is what causes you to feel the way you do. If you look for a gift in everything, you’ll soon see just how much is happening for you. Even if it’s sometimes showing you which issues need addressing. If you feel distressed, acknowledge (to yourself) that you’re choosing how you view the situation. When you live at this level of self-awareness, everything in your life contributes…

To your evolution.

Stop Being Mean to Yourself

If you think someone else’s behavior is the cause of your unhappiness, remember that they’re here to live life their way, not your way. If their behavior feels bad to you or doesn’t meet your expectations, don’t take it personally. Their preferences just aren’t in alignment with yours. Understanding this not only enables you to release the tension that blame causes, it empowers you to stop using others to justify perturbing yourself.

Live lighter by letting go.

Taking Responsibility

Mar 01 2013 Published by under Acceptance, Feelings, Love

If someone’s behavior activates anger or frustration in you, you’re entitled to your feelings. But you’re not entitled to act out on them. Your feelings aren’t caused by their behavior, but rather your spin and intolerance of it. Deep down, you’re often mad at yourself for failing to communicate clearly and set appropriate boundaries. These are often the reasons you find yourself in these situations in the first place. When you own your part in it, you won’t project blame out on others. Imagine a world where everyone takes responsibility for their own feelings…

Kinder and saner.

The Magic of Acceptance

Feb 15 2013 Published by under Acceptance, Create, Feelings, Focus, Solutions

Desires create evolutionary movement. Resistance keeps you stuck. You naturally have preferences and you’re never going to like everything that happens. But when you resist what is, your energy becomes fixated on what’s wrong, rather than creatively looking for solutions. If you’re not happy with a particular situation, acknowledge your dissatisfaction, accept that ‘what is’ is the reality of the moment and look for how it’s ‘for’ you. This allows your energy to flow, transforming dissatisfaction into desired results.

Acknowledge, accept, create.
