Whatever the ultimate truth, you’ve got several options: 1) ask them to change; 2) distance yourself; or 3) find a way to accept them. You have every right to feel the way you do…

You only feel dissatisfied when you have expectations that aren’t met. Others with different wants and needs could be in the same situation and be totally happy. This is proof that it’s just your perception that generates the discontent. Do your best to achieve the results you desire, then assume that however things turn out is for the best.
