You can definitely benefit from pointers given by teachers, coaches and mentors. But you already have what it takes to get the highest return for your effort: control your thinking. Start by paying attention to how you feel. When you’re down or frustrated, notice what you’ve been thinking about. As you do this more and more, you’ll begin to realize that how you feel is nearly always the result of how you think.
