Talking negatively or complaining about others is self-destructive. It’s usually an unconscious attempt to boost our ego by comparing ourselves¬†favorably to them. Because our subconscious minds don’t distinguish who it is we’re speaking about, it naturally assumes we’re talking about ourselves. This actually lowers our self-esteem and confidence.
