The reflections we get from the outside mirror our self-esteem.¬†Others subconsciously pick up on how we feel about ourselves and¬†without even realizing it, tend to comply with our expectations. We often can’t help but interpret their words and actions through the filter of our own inner critic and mood. Projecting our feelings onto them, we take offense and blame them for being rude or uncaring. With a little introspection, we’ll understand that these reflections (even perceived slights) are gifts.
