It’s often difficult to see ourselves objectively. Our egos can fool us into thinking we’re beyond the faults we see in others. Ironically, most of our judgments about others originate from our insecurities and negative evaluations about ourselves. We project those unconscious feelings onto others and relate to them out there. If we can open our minds enough to honestly investigate ourselves, the exercise of turning those judgments around and trying to own those faults in ourselves will reveal insight and self-awareness that inevitably leads to greater understanding and tolerance of ourselves and…
