Don’t waste your time feeling bad about yourself, it’s counter-productive. When you’ve done something you regret, correct the problem if you can, make amends to anyone you’ve negatively affected and then forgive yourself. Don’t invest one iota of energy wishing that you’d behaved differently than you did. You’re constantly evolving, seeing from a new perspective and learning from your previous actions. Live in the present moment with a firm resolve to act in alignment with who you want to be now. Drop the burdensome baggage of regretting the past.
