Withholding self-approval to motivate yourself to take action is an erroneous habit that’s hard to break, even after you’ve accomplished your goal. The truth is, accomplishment is not what makes you happy. It’s just that you’ve trained yourself to feel good when certain conditions are met. Cut to the chase and feel good first and your goals will naturally be more easy to accomplish. Make a daily practice of saying “I love you” to yourself.

It’s a winning habit.
