The Healthy Solution

Mar 23 2013 Published by under Acceptance, Appreciation, Habits, Kindness, Love

Living on the same planet is similar to living in the same house. Think of various countries as different rooms. Our amazing ability to connect with one another through cell phones and computers brings this fact home more than ever before. Just as disharmony in the home is unhealthy for every family member, international conflict affects all beings on the planet. The salve needed is the same for different peoples as it is for families: establish appropriate boundaries and make a sincere effort to love and accept one another…

Unconditionally.

Addicted to Negativity?

Mar 04 2013 Published by under Change, Habits, interpretation, Problems, Thoughts

Focusing on what’s not working in your life provides you with plenty of reasons to be unhappy. Since your experience of life is created by the nature of the stories you tell yourself, improvement is within reach. Looking for and seeing the ever-present beauty, harmony and possibility that exists all around you feels good and motivates you to create an even better world. From a personal and global perspective, there’s only one sane thing to do with the habit of negativity…

Kick it.

Identity Check

Feb 08 2013 Published by under Authenticity, Balance, Compulsive Behavior, Habits, Natural

Taking decisive action to make the world a better place is a noble pursuit, but identifying as an activist can cause you to constantly look for what’s wrong. This habit takes you out of balance quickly. When you’re identified as being a ‘fixer’ of problems, you actually need things to be ‘wrong’ just to maintain your sense of self. Compulsively driven, your intentions are rarely pure. Responding authentically to life and remembering that everything is for you, makes your motives balanced and clean.

And the results, profound.

Your Words Matter

Nov 18 2012 Published by under Grateful, Habits, interpretation

The words you use to communicate your feelings and ideas leave strong impressions on your subconscious mind. This part of you interprets your words literally and attracts to you whatever is in alignment with them. When your words are expressed with strong emotion, the effect is even more powerful. This means the more you complain, the more you’ll find to complain about. The more  you feel gratitude…

The more you’ll find to feel grateful for.

Merci
